Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Missing driver for ACPIHPQ00042&DABA3FF&0 (win 10 on HP Pavilion dv6) on windows 10. Getting a 3% battery (plugged in) there is no sign that the battery is charging.
Any help?

This solved the problem of the driver in the device manager, thank you but the battery is still not charging, so the problem of the battery wasn’t solved as you advised, thank you I will start another thread for the battery issue.

Описание и возможности
В ноутбуках HP предусмотрена специальная защитная система под названием HP 3D DriveGuard. Она предназначена для слежения за показаниями акселерометра. При резких падениях, встряске или ударах на жесткий диск приходится большая доля вибрации. При обнаружении критической ситуации данная система блокирует головку диска, из-за чего снижается риск поломки накопителя.
Если драйвер не установлен на компьютере, то данная технология работать не будет. В «Диспетчере устройств» вы можете обнаружить девайс с ID ACPIVEN_HPQ&DEV_0004 – именно для этого оборудования следует установить ПО. HP 3D DriveGuard входит в состав системных утилит HP ProtectSmart. Технология актуальна только для HDD, поскольку твердотельные накопители SSD не боятся падений из-за отсутствия подвижных элементов конструкции.

Загрузка и установка
После скачивания архива с файлами драйвера следуйте представленному алгоритму:
- Распакуйте содержимое архива в отдельную папку. Запустите установку двойным кликом ЛКМ по файлу Setup.
- Процедура выполняется только от имени администратора. Требуется подтверждение от владельца.
- Теперь следует подождать, пока софт HP 3D DriveGuard выполнит все настройки. Этот процесс займет до 2-3 минут.
После инсталляции любого драйвера следует перезагружать компьютер. Установка ПО для ACPIVEN_HPQ&DEV_0004 не является исключением!
Если ранее на вашем ноутбуке уже была установлена другая версия драйвера, то ее необходимо полностью удалить, а только затем приступать к распаковке нового варианта.
Инструкция по работе
После инсталляции самого драйвера необходимо установить в систему настройки для акселерометра. Если этого не сделать, технология будет работать некорректно, а значит, жесткий диск не будет защищен в критической ситуации. В папке с распакованным драйвером найдите файл accelerometer, и через контекстное меню выберите вариант «Установить».
Обязательно проверьте, установилось ли оборудование в системе через «Диспетчер устройств». Девайс должен отображаться с названием HP 3D DriveGuard или Mobile Data Protection Sensor.
Достоинства и недостатки
Переходим к рассмотрению положительных и отрицательных сторон софта.
Плюсы:
- занимает мало места;
- защищает жесткий диск от повреждений при падениях и ударах;
- простая и быстрая установка;
- поддержка 64-битных версий ОС;
- поддержка большинства ноутбуков из серий Pavilion, Spectre, Mini, ENVY, Ultrabook.
Минусы:
- перед установкой следует удалить старый драйвер;
- название устройства не определяется до инсталляции ПО.
