Захожу в лаунчер, нажимаю «Играть», грузится античит программа, когда загрузка кончается, выдает ошибку!

Хочу добавить… переустанавливал и чинил, не помогает. В игру заходит, но не обновляется клиент игры!

Как указано выше, с Октября 2020 протокол SHA-1 более не поддерживается, строго SHA-2. Либо танцы с бубнами по обновлению вин7 до поддержки SHA-2. Либо просто реинстал/апдейт до вин10. Сам парился. Вроде победил, но лаунчер визуально перестал обновляться совсем, новости как были за октябрь так и весели, так как я понимаю, они обновляются «Онлайн»

I upgrade my PC (brand new) a few months ago and use WINDOWS 7 Proffesional OS. Hardware is CPU I3 8100 @3.6 ghz, RAM 8 GB, 64 bit.

When I installed War Thunder game its works perfect and play mostly Arcade Battles. When I want to play other type of battles recently the system ask to install Easy Anti cheat and it shows the error «Your System Is Lacking Critical SHA-2 Code Signing Support Required by October 2020». I’m currently locked out of the game and cannot access it. I uninstalled the game twice and re install. Then I can play AB and as soon as I want to play RB the anti cheat install and I’m stuck again. On the o;d PC everything work OK.

None of the remedies on the net solved the problem. Windows website states it does not support Win 7 anymore. When I go to the Win 7 page and download the stand alone upgrade it states «Installation error».

How do I fix this problem
(PS. I’m not really clued up and software and have limited knowledge. I have read to go to Properties and change EAC, but cannot find that on my system)

It is of note to mention that the «ark» for the i3 8100 shows no driver or software compatibility for anything aside from W10 and W11. It would be a good bet that the issue might stem from there alone.

edit- it is of note that since support for 7 has been cancelled that this would make sense, but 8 isn’t there either, so…

The error I got was «Please run Windows updates, your system is lacking critical SHA-2 code signing support required by October 2020.» but I have no idea which update this is referring to, I;m on windows 7 so Im a bit worried this update doesn’t exist but I would love some guidance on how to fix it if possible

I have that error too, but when i close it, it lets me play.
I don’t know how to fix it sadly

I hope that doesnt trigger something in the anticheat if we keep playing with the error, I’d hate to get banned just because I didn’t figure out a fix D:

Have you tried running Windows Update? The update for SHA-2 was released for Windows 7 way back in March 2019.

Huh weird, I would have expected this error to be for a more recent update, I’ll check if I somehow missed that one

if anyone find a workaround that does not involve installing the windows update file please let me know, others have bricked their systems after the install

I also have this error, but my game runs normally, my only problem is that I can’t play with friends, does it have something to do with it?

я использую Win7 SP1 и переходить на Win10 нет желания. еще вчера таких проблем не было. других игр с EasyAntiCheat у меня нету.

что будет в октябре 2020, если я ничего не буду делать?

Windows Embedded Standard 7 или Windows 7 ?

у меня Win7 SP1

и достаточно установить последнюю версию или надо все устанавливать?

Нужен скрин oшибки(синий экран)

1.Зайдите в центр обновлений,проверьте если какое-нибудь,не установленное обновление

2.Откройте Origin на вашем ПК.
Нажмите Библиотека игр на левой панели, затем выберите Apex Legends.
На экране Apex Legends нажмите на значок шестеренки настроек прямо под кнопкой играть.
Выберите восстановить из списка параметров в настройках.
Подождите, пока процесс восстановления закончится. Как только это будет сделано, перезагрузите компьютер.

если не помогло
Если вы уверены,что из-за обновления.
3.Сделайте откат обновления,перезагрузите комп.
Загрузите сначала одно обновление,проверьте или установите более раннию версию.

Is it actually stopping you from running? You can just install the update that gives sha2 itself.

Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 7. There are no Windows updates anymore.

At the very least what MS could do is support older OSes for a fee. You think they might want more money and this would be a way to do it. Also a good PR move.

They already do that. But it’s business support only and it’s anything but cheap.
Definitely not feasible for the average enduser.

In answer to your question though — you just need to update your version of Windows, this code is specifically referring to a 2019 update (available of Windows 7 also)
