I read your post about the Graphic Drivers, and wanted to assist you!

You can try checking this site for Windows 10 drivers that will work with your product: 

HP Products — Where Do I Find Windows 10 Drivers and Software for My Model?

If you are having trouble installing the drivers, you can use the tool at the following site: 

Open the Windows Update troubleshooter

Keep in mind that Windows 10 is a technical preview, so it is possible that drivers may not be available for your product.  If you are still having trouble, try using the Go back to an earlier build option, in your System Settings: HP Notebook PCs — Upgrading to Windows 10

Once you are back to your original Operating System, check to see if you are experiencing the same issue. If not, then you may consider holding off on the Windows 10 upgrade for a few weeks, until drivers can be updated.

In brief:

1. Search for «device installation settings» and run it

2. In options: For driver, check:  «No, Let me choose what to do»

                                                                «Never install driver software from Windows Update

                                                                 «Automatically get the device app and info provided by your device manufacturer

3. Save changes

4. Go to Device Manager (right click mouse on Windows start button

5. Go to Display adapters, expand for see your «good VGA» for instances ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470, right click over it, and Uninstall, check for «delete driver software for the device»

6. Install your manufacturer Display VGA drivers if there are not for Windows 10, do that in «Compatibility Mode» for the Windows version tested (usually Windows 7)

7. Choose to manual update of driver selecting the aproppiated route for the drivers

and… almost done…

8. Download:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab

This is for preventing Windows 10 automatically install drivers….

9. Run wushowhide, uncheck  «apply repairs automatically»

10. Click on hide updates

11. Check all the updates / drivers who may aply… for no Update

AND VOILA !

I have my «old» HP Pavillon dv6-3077 working with the ATI AMD HD 5470.

And Windows Update does not going and going Updating the drivers.

Всем привет. Имееется в наличии ноутбук сони Vaio с установленной Windows 10 со всеми обновлениями. Еще со времен виндовс 8 заметил такую штуку. На стандартном видеодрайвере нет изображения- включаешь фильм- звук идет картинки нет. Работал только vlc плеер. Я долго рыл интернет, нашел что на ноутбуках сони есть такая рпоблема и все решается заменой 4 файликов- я заменил и все заработало. Так и жил. Вышла Виндовс 10. Та же фигня- звук есть, картинки нет. Я попробовал заменить 4 файлика- но фиг там. Тогда я нашел драйвер на видеокарту от виндовс 7, распаковал его и сделал следующее- пуск- диспетчер устройств- видеоадаптеры- ati mobiliti 5000 (стандартный видеодрайвер)-свойства-драйвер- обновить- выполнить поиск драйверо на этом компьютере- выбрать драйвер из списка уже установленных драйверов-установить с диска. Установил драйвер от 7-ки, компьютер мне показал синий экран с печальным смайликом, пеерзагрузился. Я снова проделал этот путь и ..о чудо у меня в диспетчере устройств ati mobiliti radeon 5470 вместо 5000. и заработали все фильмы, видео все заработало. Другу устанавливал тоже на ноутбук только видеокарта 5650 таким же способом. Теперь вопрос- такая установка драйвера нормальна? Будет ли видеокарта полноценно работать? Или есть какой либо способ проще7
