Я прежде всего ему помогаю, не поможет то, что я сказал, напишу другое… А у тебя, если есть что по теме — выскажись, нет — промолчи. Я же наблюдаю только то, что выпендриваешься здесь только ты, я же не хочу расписывать длиннющий пост, не будучи уверенным, что простое решение не поможет.

UPD: Короче, по заявкам особо страждущих телезрителей, я таки запустил Vice на 10-ке. Как я и думал, это шаманские танцы с бубном и писать я буду очень много и долго. Я сам не до конца понял, почему она для запуска требует именно такого алгоритма действий, но тем не менее… Итак, начнём.
1. Сразу забываем про Nvidia Geforce Experience, так как тут он нам не помощник, он не имеет в своей библиотеке игр вайс сити, самая старая гта там это сан-андрес.
2. Идём в «Панель управления Nvidia», там идём в «Изменение разрешения» и выставляем там 800х600.
3. Заходим в корневую папку игры и находим экзешник. Идём в свойства, там выставляем совместимость с 98-ой виндой, а также ставим галочку в пункте «Использовать разрешение 640х480».
4. Сразу после того, как максимально испоганили разрешение на вашем FullHD4к дисплее, заходим в игру, настольгируя по временам тетриса. Далее уже заходим в настройки и выставляем там нужное нам. Всё, здесь больше у нас дел нет, выходим.
5. Возвращаем всё по дефолту.(в панели управления видеокартой и экзешник не забудьте отреставрировать)
6. Опять заходим в гта. Комп сходит с ума от таких манипуляций с разрешениями и снова запускает её в разрешении 640х480, но тем не менее он её запускает, чего изначально делать почему-то не хотел, выдавая ошибку про отсутствие разрешения 640х480.
7. Ну далее всё просто — заходим опять в настройки игры и меняем разрешение на нужное нам. Вуаля — вы запустили GTA VC на 10 винде. И да, после этого запуска у вас уже не должно быть ошибок и шаманских танцев, ибо настройки сохранились.
P.S. Возможно, что-то из этого списка можно сделать иначе, что-то короче, но так как я этот способ придумал сейчас на коленке, то и критиковать меня не нужно.

Go to your steam library and go to GTA 3 Properties by right clicking it.
Go to local files and click browse local files.
Right click GTA3.exe and go to properties.

I really up, I have it legally. I bought released, although now you can just grab directx 9. CD is on Computer 2. Spinning version of directx 8 to work properly.

Computer specs are fine and CD icon. So that could it needs Directx 8. Then, it started to freeze up, specifically in my house nuts!

Всем привет, ребята при запуске игры возникает ошибка cannot find 640×480 video mode. Что я только не делал, гуглил, яндексил, мейлил, бингил. Ничего не помогает. Видюха gtx 460, винда 7. Пробовал очень много модификаций игры, создал пользовательское разрешение 640*480, устанавливал совместимость со всеми операционными системами, устанавливал галочку запуск от имени администратора, скачивал файлы которые выложены к самому популярному видео на ютубе по исправлению данной ошибки. Пересмотрел очень много видео, в том числе и видео от индейцев апачи которые запускали эту игру на тамагочи без ДИСКА. что делать-то? как жить дальше? помогите может кто-то сталкивался с такой бядой, что делали для устранения?

На сколько я понял надо запустить игру в своем разрешении которое поддерживает ваш монитор и это не 640х480 явно. Далее следует удалить все моды. Если и это не поможет то скачайте другой репак

Попробуй просто оптимизировать игру через Nvidia GeForce Experience. Есть там ещё один вариант, но о нём потом.

Go to the Windows Search Bar.
Type in Control Panel.
