Компьютерная программа Quik не открывается

Проблема:

Во время запуска программа Quik начинает загрузку, но не запускается. При этом на ПК с ОС Windows курсор мыши преобразовался в синий круг.

Где встречается:

Путь решения проблемы:

• Создайте новую учётную запись пользователя, в роли администратора, зайдите в неё. Снова попробуйте открыть приложение Quik.

Windows:

Внимание. Если в имени администратора ПК содержатся неанглоязычные знаки, удалите их. Это может исправить ошибку.

Такое может случиться по двум причинам.

Первая: приложение не открывается из-за сбоев в Интернет-соединении. Даже если подсоединение к сети есть, выхода в Интернет может не быть. В связи с чем программа не откроется полностью, так как некоторые параметры Quik функционируют неправильно.

Выключите Wi-Fi и проверьте, запустится ли программа. Если программа открылась — неисправность кроется в маршрутизаторе, так что стоит выполнить поиск проблем с дальнейшим их устранением.

Для начала, откройте компьютерную программу Quik в режиме совместимости с Windows Vista (Service Pack 2):

• Правой клавишей мыши кликните по ярлыку Quik, нажмите «Properties» (Характеристики)

• Коснитесь «Compatibility» (Совместимость)

Меню «Быстрый доступ» скрыто

Если в Windows Vista используется боковая панель Windows , меню «Быстрый доступ» может отображаться за боковой панелью Windows и быть недоступным для управления с помощью мыши. В таком случае дважды щелкните значок ( Quick Menu ) в области уведомлений рабочего стола, чтобы вывести меню «Быстрый доступ» на передний план.

После этого рекомендуем переместить меню «Быстрый доступ» в другое место, где оно не будет пересекаться с боковой панелью Windows .

I am using a Canon LiDe 120 Scanner and it works without issue.   I can access the scanner from within programs (i.e. PaintShop Pro) and I can run the Cannon Scanner Utilities and scan documents.   The issue is — all of a sudden the little quick menu that used to be available, does not start now when I select the program shortcut, or if I run the exe directly and even with admin access C:Program Files (x86)CanonQuick MenuCNQMMAIN.exe.   I receive no error messages in the event log.  No errors on screen.  The program just does not run.   It does nothing.  

What I have done … 

1) Uninstalled and reinstalled the program and drivers using the latest download on the support site.   Reinstall was sucessful and I can scan fine, but the quick menu is still hiding on me. 

2) I have googled the issue and other people reference issues with old scanner twain drivers but I have none to remove.

If there is any other suggestions I’d appreciate it.   It’s just a bit annoying that it doesn’t work the same way because my wife always scans with that so now i have to reeducate her to use another means (scanner utilities)
