Specifications
Furthermore, the average print quality is about 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) for standard printing. However, the maximum print resolution can reach up to 1200 x 600 dpi with the automatic image refinement (AIR) component. It also has double-sided printing, which ensures support for various types of printer languages. The options include the UFRII, PCL5e, and PCL 6. In comparison, the font types include 45 scalable fonts and ten bitmap fonts.

As a multifunction printer, the printing rate is about 33 copies per minute (CPM). Besides, the first copy output time is approximately 8 seconds or less with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. At the same time, this copy mode supports text, photos, and a combination of text and image. Double-sided copying is automatic, while there is multiple copy mode for up to 99 copies. Also, it supports a toner saver mode, which maintains the printer quality.
This Canon i-SENSYS MF5940dn machine also has a scan function that can work with an SMB server, an email, or i-Fax. Besides, the supported file formats include TIFF< JPEG, PDF, and PDF compact. It can also scan to a USB memory key for both color and monochrome documents. It is compatible with TWAIN and WIA components.
