- Open Device Manager on your computer by right-clicking the Windows Start Button and selecting Device Manager.
- Once the Device Manager loads, click on your Computer name.
- Now click on Action and then on Add legacy hardware.
- Now Add Hardware Wizard window should open. Click Next to continue.
- Now select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) option and click on Next.
- In the next screen, select Show All Devices from the list and click on Next.
- Now click on Have Disk… to launch Install From Disk window.
- Click on Browse… and navigate to the folder where you have extracted the Android VCOM drivers in Step #1.
- Now open Win 7 folder and select usb2ser_Win764.inf driver file if you have the 64-bit version of Windows, otherwise choose usb2ser_Win7.inf file if you have the 32-bit version of Windows. Once selected, click on Open and then on OK.
- Select MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port driver from the list and click on Next.
- Confirm the Hardware driver to install and click on Next to begin the installation process.
- Once installed, click on Finish.
- Follow Steps #3 to #13 again and install the MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port, MTK USB Debug Port, MTK USB Modem Port, and MTK USB Port drivers.
- Once all the listed drivers are installed, reboot your computer.
How to Install Explay Rio Play USB Drivers Manually
- Download and extract the latest_usb_driver_windows.zip to Desktop on your computer.
- Open the Device Manager on your computer by searching device manager (devmgmt.msc) from Windows Start Menu.
- When the Device Manager window opens, click on your Computer name.
- Now click on Action and then click on Add legacy hardware.
- Now Add Hardware Wizard window should open. Click on Next to continue.
- Now select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) option and click on Next.
- Now click on Show All Devices from the list and click on Next.
- Now click on Have Disk… to open the Install From Disk window.

How to Install Explay Rio Play ADB and Fastboot Drivers
- Download and extract the 15 seconds ADB installer zip package on your computer.
- Now right click on the adb installer setup exe file and click on Run as administrator.
- Now a command prompt window should open.
- It should say, Do you want to install ADB and Fastboot? Press the Y key on your keyboard and hit Enter.
- When it says, Do you want to install ADB system-wide? Press the Y key again and hit Enter.
- Now, the ADB driver and Fastboot driver installation process should begin.
- When finished, it should say, Do you want to install device drivers? Press the Y key and hit Enter.
- Now the «Device Driver Installation Wizard» window should open.
- Click on Next to install the Google USB Drivers (WinUSB).
- Once installed, click on Finish and restart your computer.

Внезапный обрыв прошивки, например в момент отключения электроэнергии, может привести к полной потере работоспособности смартфона без возможности его восстановления. Поэтому прошивать лучше на ноутбуке с полностью заряженным аккумулятором, а также иметь хороший USB кабель и не расшатанное гнездо.
Зарядите смартфон не менее чем на 80%.
Необходимые для прошивки файлы:
- Извлекаем содержимое архивов в корень диска “С:” (путь к прошивке не должен содержать русских букв) и запускаем установку драйверов: файл “Driver_Auto_Installer-v5.1632.00.exe“.
Установка стандарта: нажимаем “Instal“, соглашаемся на установку нажимаем “Да“, по завершении нажимаем “Ok“, “Finish” и перезагружаем компьютер.
- После перезагрузки компьютера открываем «Диспетчер устройств» и подключаем выключенный смартфон кабелем USB к компьютеру. Начнётся установка драйвера и после успешной установки в «Диспетчере устройств» в разделе «Порты (COM и LPT)» появится подключенный смартфон под названием «MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM (Android)».
Если драйвер не успел установиться, то выдерните и снова подключите шнур USB.
- Переходим в папку «SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1444.00.000» и запускаем файл «flash_tool.exe»:
- В открывшейся программе нажимаем кнопку «Scatter-loading»:
- В папке с прошивкой выбираем файл “MT6571_Android_scatter.txt” и нажимаем кнопку “Открыть“:
- Если нужно чтобы после прошивки в телефоне всё сохранилось режим работы оставляем «Download Only» и убираем галочки с пунктов “CACHE” и “USRDATA“.
Должно быть так:
- Если нужно очистить память смартфона от пользовательских настроек и файлов выбираем «Firmware Upgrade», галочки на “CACHE” и “USRDATA” встанут автоматически.
В этом режиме память телефона будет полностью отформатирована, поэтому использовать его нужно в крайнем случае, если режим «Download Only» не дал результатов.
Должно быть так:
НЕ ИСПОЛЬЗУЙТЕ РЕЖИМ “Format All + Download“, это может привести к стиранию IMEI и калибровочных данных аппарата, необходимых для его корректной работы.
- Нажимаем кнопку «Download»:
- Подключаем выключенный смартфон к компьютеру.
В процессе прошивки в нижней части окна утилиты (в области статуса) будут
отображаться стадии прошивки – двигаться цветовой индикатор прогресса и
изменяться числовые значения (несколько раз, для каждой стадии).
- Об успешном окончании прошивки будет свидетельствовать окошко с надписью «Download OK»:
Отключаем USB кабель и включаем телефон.
Первичная загрузка после перепрошивки включает процесс инициализации устройства, и занимает более продолжительное время, чем обычно.
После загрузки проходим стандартную процедуру настройки с выбором языка, принятия условий и включения или отключения дополнительных опций.

Инструкция по прошивке:
1. Установка драйверов. В первую очередь для прошивки устройства на компьютер должны быть установлены все необходимые драйвера. Скачайте из вложений к данному сообщению архив driver.rar и распакуйте его. Внутри находятся еще несколько архивов, пройдитесь по всем папкам и установите все .exe файлы которые там найдёте. После установки перезагрузите компьютер. Далее необходимо будет установить USB VCOM драйвер вручную:
- Распакуйте архив USB VCOM Driver.rar
- Выключите устройство полностью и вытащите батарею из него, а затем вставьте её обратно, но не включайте устройство
- Откройте диспетчер устройств (Мой компьютер -> свойства -> диспетчер устройств), затем зажмите кнопку звук вниз на смартфоне и не отпуская её подключите к компьютер
- Смотрите в диспетчер устройств (обычно в разделе другие устройства или порты), там должно будет появиться устройство Preloader
- Сделайте клик правой кнопкой мышки по этому устройству Preloader и выберите обновление драйверов, а затем поиск драйверов на компьютере, после чего через кнопку обзора укажите путь к папке куда вы распаковали USB VCOM Driver.rar
- После установки драйвера отключите смартфон и перезагрузите компьютер
2. Теперь скачайте прошивку и распакуйте архив. Должна будет получить папка в которой много файлов, это и есть наша прошивка
3. Скачиваем программу-прошивальщик Flash Tool SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1408.00.rar и распаковываем архив. Заходим в распакованную папку, находим там файл flash_tool.exe и запускаем его на правах администратора (правый клик по файлу -> запуск от имени администратора). Появится окно-предупреждение о том что не загружен scatter-файл, просто нажмите ОК
4. В появившемся окне программы нажмите на кнопку Scatter-loading и в появившемся окне обзора перейдите в папку куда вы распаковали архив с прошивкой. Выберите файл MT6571_Android_scatter.txt
5. После выбора scatter-файла, Flash Tool подгрузит все необходимые файлы в окно программы из папки с прошивкой. Убедитесь что напротив всех файлов установлены флажки, а затем нажмите кнопку Download
6. Теперь возьмите ваш Explay Rio Play в руки, выключите его, вытащите батарейку, вставьте её обратно, но не включайте смартфон, а просто подключите его к ПК в выключенном состоянии. После подключения в окне Flash Tool вы увидите как «побегут» строки прошивки, дождитесь завершения прошивки, о чём вам сообщит небольшое окошко с надписью Download Ok
7. После завершения прошивки, вытащите и вставьте батарею устройства еще раз, после чего запустите устройство в нормальном режиме

прошивка стартует вообще? USB VCOM Driver установил? Почти уверен что проблема в нём, у большинства именно с драйвером проблема когда первый раз через SP Flash Tool прошиваются. Прошивка не может не подойти тут, так как с официального сайта взята, для Explay Rio Play.
