thanks brother you have save my time. today i have re install windows xp into my hp elitebook 8460p and try to install wwan device driver but did not find any backup intomy pc. so thats way i have google and open tis link and downloaded it thanks you very much. now am going to installing and installation is successfully. let cheer.

That’s interesting. If you look at the 6470b W8.1 driver page, that file is listed for the un2430.
Try manually installing the other W8.1 un2430 driver as follows.
Download and run the one you tried before.
If you didn’t delete the driver folder is still exists in C:SWSetup, then you don’t have to run it again.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63001-63500/sp63221.exe
Go to the device manager and click on the un2430 WWAN device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file. That folder will be located in C:SWSetupsp63221.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
If it does, restart the PC.
I don’t know why the driver didn’t work for you straightaway. It worked for this person just fine…
