Интерфейс иГо для Win Mobile очень дружественный – он, кроме привлекательного дизайна, еще прост и понятен. Любую функцию можно вызвать с помощью одного-двух касаний, где бы вы в программе не находились. Интеллектуальная QWERTY-клавиатура, которая соответствует стандартной раскладке на компьютере. С её помощью можно легко вводить тексты большого объема, не говоря уже о коротких смс-сообщениях. Надо сказать, что тут работает система быстрого ввода, когда при нескольких введенных буквах, активными остаются те, для которых либо уже есть сохраненные, либо ранее вводимые варианты адресов или каких других объектов.
Удобством можно считать и то, что теперь можно выбрать подходящий режим – для новичков «простой», «расширенный» для опытных пользователей – тех, кто любит поковыряться и изучать дополнительные функции, настроить под свои нужды вплоть до изменения цветовой гаммы на карте.
Покрытие просто впечатляет. Теперь невозможно потеряться ни в одной точке Мира! Почти 50 государств Европы, вся Америка, включая карты всех штатов, 17 государств Азии, Африки и Австралия. Причем карты высокой детализации. Особенно крупные города.
Особенности программы IGO для Windows Mobile:
Приятной неожиданностью для пользователей стало то, что теперь программа поддерживает возможность использования её для путешествия на велосипедах, катерах, снегоходах, мотоциклах, яхтах и в пеших походах. Согласитесь – область применения расширилась, и очень значительно. Просто поразительная 3D графика (точнее, псевдо 3D), хотя отображение в 2D формате тоже присутствует.
Качество отображения высочайшее. В 3D формате отображаются не только большие здания и достопримечательности, но и транспортные развязки и окружающий ландшафт вместе с лесами, горами, холмами и долинами. Эффект присутствия и фотографическая схожесть! А в случае сложных транспортных развязок это еще будет отличным подспорьем, так как информация будет более чем наглядной и пройти развязку не составит большого труда. Карту можно поворачивать на 360° для того, чтобы рассмотреть со всех сторон и выбрать для себя оптимальное положение.
Режим VGA с высоким разрешением и разными цветовыми схемами дадут вам почувствовать, что просматриваете бумажный вариант карты. Для оформления карты можно выбрать как разные стили, так и сделать ориентацию карты альбомной или книжной.
Красиво и изящно работает функция интеллектуального масштабирования карты. Она плавно увеличивает и слегка наклоняет карту для того, чтобы пользователю было понятно, какой маневр ждет его далее. Теперь навигация успешно осуществляется и для улиц с односторонним движением.
Основные эргономические требования были учтены при разработке функции переключения день/ночь. Названия отображаются очень читабельно, а цвет ночной дороги глаза не режет. Переключение осуществляется автоматически и привязано ко времени восхода/захода солнца.
Как упоминалось выше, в последней версии программы можно выбрать режим работы для продвинутых пользователей и новичков. В случае новичков, если человеку либо лень разбираться, либо он недавно приобрел этот продукт, можно просто выбрать конечный пункт и программа моментально рассчитает маршрут. А если вы – продвинутый пользователь и у вас для прокладки маршрута есть пожелания по некоторым критериям, то можете воспользоваться соответствующим режимом. И тогда программа поможет вам объехать плохие и платные трассы, паромные переправы и все препятствия, с которыми вы бы не хотели сталкиваться. Можно также воспользоваться функцией «объезд», чтобы исключить на своем пути какие-либо заторы.
В настройках при желании можно выставить режим перерасчета маршрута автоматически, либо по запросу. А можно и вовсе его отключить.
Очень полезная опция «привязки к дороге», где можно установить временные задержки и допуск на отклонения от маршрута, при превышении которого начинается его пересчет. Поиск стал умнее и быстрее. Теперь можно задать даже несколько абстрактный запрос, такой как «центр города». Он синхронизирован с адресами в контактах.
Радует и обширная база POI (от англ. Point of Interest) – объектов инфраструктуры. Миллионы объектов – от гостиниц, аптек и банкоматов, до крупных транспортных узлов вроде аэропортов и вокзалов, а также транспортных развязок. Теперь вы сами можете настроить параметры поиска нужных объектов вдоль вашего маршрута, либо в конце, либо вокруг вашего местоположения. Приложение поможет определить оптимальный маршрут до нужной POI. Также всю эту информацию можно импортировать в формате CSV. Очень удобно и то, что теперь можно добавлять свои «точки интереса» и камеры контроля скорости (SpeedCam). Для каждого объекта есть своя своеобразная «визитная карточка». Сам пользователь отныне может снабдить к такой точке дополнительно мультимедийные данные – рекламную информацию, развлекательную, справочную или что-то другое.
Если какой-то объект достаточно крупный и имеет несколько входов и выходов, то на карте теперь будет обозначен и вход, и выход.
База объектов хорошо структурирована по категориям – «транспорт», «сервисы», «развлечения», «магазины» и так далее. В свою очередь каждая категория может содержать подкатегории и тем самым значительно упрощается поиск нужного объекта. Его также можно найти по конкретному названию, либо просмотреть список объектов, рассортированных по расстоянию.
- Несомненным удобством является голосовое сопровождение во время пути, которое выполнено четко, в хорошем качестве. Голосовая подсказка своевременно предупредит о следующем маневре. Подсказки регулируются и могут выполняться на нескольких языках. Также вы по желанию можете менять голосовые профили. Хорошая функция для обеспечения безопасности на дороге.
- Новый синтез голоса отныне позволяет произносить название улицы, куда необходимо свернуть.
- Голосовые подсказки в программе тоже подвергаются масштабированию – чем выше скорость вашего транспортного средства, тем раньше будут выдаваться голосовые предупреждения о предстоящих манёврах.
Если же вы превысили скорость, либо у вас впереди камера контроля скорости, то приятный голос обязательно вам об этом скажет. Также будет показано и визуальное предупреждение.
Пожалуй, никогда еще навигация не была настолько простой и удобной. Есть, правда, один правовой нюанс. Дело в том, что в некоторых странах, например в Швейцарии, полиция запросто может конфисковать у вас навигатор, где хранится информация о местоположении радаров. Поэтому по умолчанию в программе эта функция выключена. Перед тем как отправится в какую-нибудь уж очень развитую страну, поинтересуйтесь – что там разрешено, а от чего придется отказаться.

Paid my $10.00, received the link for the European Maps, had some issues with extracting the files but communications with Will at MYGPSMAPS resolved the issues and the update worked on my IGO8 (7″ 2010 Model). Updated only the maps I wanted. Cheaper than buying a new satnav!

I was very dubious when i first saw the advert $10 could this be for real???
WELL YES!!!
I sent the information about my aftermarket stereo with the software version and within minutes i was sent details on how to make payment via paypal.. i returned an email proving payment and the download link with full clear installation instructions was returned..
I struggled due to my own computer software and sky firewalls but the technical help team were on hand instantly and were more than willing to assist until i had successfully got a working product..

I received by email all steps to install 2020Q4 igo maps for Europe in my 2din android unit after market.
Great support, after all steps done i have a small issue related to installation, after copy all the necessary files from flash drive to internal storage of my unit i received a message on screen «Global_cfg not found» i replace the file with the one from the flash drive and everything is working well now.
I’m going to test navigation during some time and if something is wrong i will post again.

I definitely recommend this place to acquire the maps. It has been a magnificent and rewarding experience. I received a package of almost 6 gigs of information completely updated with absolutely everything I expected. My visiting friends have gone to their country Romania with an updated GPS (no more maps of the year 2014 !!) and functional and all that guarantees a safe trip and with the pertinently effective information in case of an incident, the information of speed cameras, points of interest, 3d buildings etc. everything absolutely everything as one expects, I provide all my peace of mind and help for my friends. all of the above leaves a very good impression. other sites receive your money and one is left without help. my grade with you WILLIAM is a 10.

- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> . - Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation. - Using iGO Navigation on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search «iGO Navigation»
- The search will reveal the iGO Navigation app icon. Open, then click «Install».
- Once iGO Navigation is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the «All apps» icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iGO Navigation.
- Now enjoy iGO Navigation on PC.

How to download and install iGO Navigation on Windows 11
To use iGO Navigation mobile app on Windows 11, install the Amazon Appstore. This enables you browse and install android apps from a curated catalog. Here’s how:
- Check device compatibility
- RAM: 8GB (minimum), 16GB (recommended)
- Storage: SSD
- Processor: Intel Core i3 8th Gen (minimum), AMD Ryzen 3000 (minimum) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c (minimum)
- Processor architecture: x64 or ARM64
- Check if there’s a native iGO Navigation Windows app ». If none, proceed to next step.
- Install the Amazon-Appstore ».
- Click on «Get» to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- Install iGO Navigation on Windows 11:

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Installation and setup
Please note that since iPod touch and iPad (WiFi only) do not have built-in GPS-receivers, an external GPS-receiver is required. Only those receivers are compatible, which are officially supported by Apple. Due to the size of the package and certain In-App items, we recommend purchasing and downloading the application, In-App items or updates through WiFi or fixed line Internet access via the iTunes software installed on a personal computer.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Background navigation has to be turned on while using the application; you can do this under «Settings / Advanced settings» in iOS 7.

Nice upgrade

I’m a bit annoyed that I had to repurchase maps I had purchased for the app Primo, and I cannot understand why I should download a quarter gig TTS package when iOS offers a perfectly acceptable TTS engine in the OS, but otherwise I see significant improvements over its predecessor. I like the integration of speed/speed limits and the availability of heading information in the navigation view.

I bought old app and it was not cheep after all maps that I bought. They made new app now and my license doesn’t work no more, i cant use new app. I need to buy again. They send me notification that i am not going to have support for old one. I try to talk with support they were nasty. So if you like to pay every year for new app that is actually the same like old one this is perfect app for you. Than you the app

Very unreliable

Very annoying to have to pay again for the maps that already worked for me. It is ok to sell another application, dont update maps for old app, or similar, but to completely close app I’ve never seen before. This is by far the most expensive app I’ve invested and got such disrespect.
They should refund all of us if not capable of keeping up with software development. -
There’s no app support at all!

Half a year they cannot fix restore purchase option. 5 months I cannot use package/subscription I bought. Horrible support. And they’re don’t care. I received a few letters from them with ridiculous proposals like login into iCloud account that I did before contacting them and told them in my first support request.
Upd: 6+ months since they’re doing nothing to fix!!!
