    1.Please try to do a offline install:

      • Reboot the server once
      • Delete the temporary files from C:WindowsTEMP &
        C:WindowsSoftwareDistributionDownloadInstall         folders
      • Download the IE installer from following link

      • Disable Windows Firewall and AV temporarily
      • Before installing IE, disable Internet on the Server (if applicable)
      • Execute the IE installer from elevated cmd ( run as Admin )

    2.If it still can’t install:

    3.Perform a in-place upgrade for winserver 2008r2:

Internet Explorer 11 — это новая и последняя версия браузера от корпорации Microsoft, позволяющая пользователю попробовать некоторые новые возможности, которыми уже наделена Windows 8. Good news for Internet Explorer geeks! Microsoft has released the version 11 of this propriety browser for their Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 users. Till now, Internet Explorer was officially available in Windows 8.1 only, but you now have it on Windows 7 as well.
