3. Использование Python в Windows¶

Встроенный дистрибутив представляет собой ZIP-файл, содержащий минимальную среду Python. Он предназначен для работы как часть другого приложения, а не для прямого доступа конечных пользователей.

Встроенный дистрибутив не включает Microsoft C Runtime, и установщик приложения несет ответственность за его предоставление. Среда выполнения могла быть уже установлена в системе пользователя ранее или автоматически через центр обновления Windows, и её можно обнаружить, найдя ucrtbase.dll в системном каталоге.

При работе в Windows 7 Python 3.8 требует установки обновления KB2533623. Встраиваемый дистрибутив не обнаруживает это обновление и может дать сбой во время выполнения. Это обновление включено в более поздние версии Windows.

Сторонние пакеты должны устанавливаться установщиком приложения вместе со встроенным дистрибутивом. 3.6. Настройка Python¶

3.6.1. Экскурс: установка переменных окружения¶

Windows позволяет постоянно настраивать переменные среды как на уровне пользователя, так и на уровне системы или временно в командной строке.

Чтобы временно установить переменные среды, открыть командную строку и воспользоваться командой set:

Включение имени переменной в знаки процента расширит существующее значение, что позволит вам добавить новое значение либо в начало, либо в конец. 3.6.2. Поиск исполняемого файла Python¶

3.7. Режим UTF-8¶

Программа запускальщик (Launcher) Python для Windows — это утилита, которая помогает находить и запускать различные версии Python. Он позволяет сценариям (или командной строке) указывать предпочтение для конкретной версии Python, а также находить и выполнять эту версию.

Установка запускальщика изначально была указана в PEP 397.

3.8.1. Начало¶

3.8.1.2. Виртуальные среды¶

Если средство запуска запущено без явной спецификации версии Python и активной виртуальной среды (созданная с помощью модуля стандартной библиотеки venv или внешнего инструмента virtualenv ), средство запуска будет запускать интерпретатор виртуальной среды, а не глобальный. Чтобы запустить глобальный интерпретатор, либо деактивируйте виртуальную среду, либо явно укажите глобальную версию Python.

Добавлено в версии 3.7: Начиная с python 3.7 запускальщик может запрашивать 64-битную версию по суффиксу «-64». Кроме того, можно указать основное и архитектуру без второстепенных деталей (например, /usr/bin/python3-64 ).

Шебанг строки также могут указывать дополнительные параметры, передаваемые интерпретатору Python. Например, если у вас есть шебанг строка:

В некоторых случаях квалификатор версии может добавляться к команде, чтобы указать, используемую версию Python. Квалификатор версии начинается с основного номера версии и может сопровождаться точкой («.») и указателем дополнительной версии. Кроме того, можно указать, будет ли запрашиваться 32- или 64-разрядная реализация, добавив «-32» или «-64».

Например, у шебанг строки #!python нет квалификатора версии, а #!python3 содержит квалификатор версии, который указывает только основную версию.

Если в команде не найдены квалификаторы версии, можно задать в переменной среды PY_PYTHON квалификатор версии по умолчанию. Если он не установлен, по умолчанию используется «3». Переменная может указывать любое значение, которое может передаваться в командной строке, например «3», «3,7», «3,7-32» или «3,7-64». (Обратите внимание, что параметр «-64» доступен только с программой запуска, включенной в Python 3.7 или новее.)

Если квалификаторы младшей версии не найдены, переменная среды PY_PYTHON (где — квалификатор текущей основной версии, как определено выше) может установлен для указания полной версии. Если такой вариант не найден, средство запуска перечислит установленные версии Python и будет использовать последний дополнительный релиз, найденный для основной версии, который, скорее всего, хотя и не гарантируется, будет самой последней установленной версией в этом семействе.

В 64-битной Windows с 32-битной и 64-битной реализациями одной и той же (major.minor) версии Python всегда будет предпочтительнее 64-битная версия. Это справедливо как для 32-разрядной, так и для 64-разрядной реализации средства запуска — 32-разрядная программа запуска предпочтёт выполнить 64-разрядную установку Python указанной версии, если она доступна. Это сделано для того, чтобы поведение средства запуска можно было предсказать, зная только, какие версии установлены на ПК, и независимо от порядка, в котором они были установлены (т. е., не зная, была ли установлена 32-или 64-разрядная версия Python и соответствующая программа запуска в последний раз). 3.8.5. Диагностика¶

Если переменная среды PYLAUNCH_DEBUG установлена (в любое значение), программа запуска будет печатать диагностическую информацию в stderr (т. е. на консоль). Подружить новый питон со старой виндой

По ряду причин я затягиваю переход на новые версии Windows как можно дольше.

Одна из этих причин — огромное количество багов в новых версиях, другая — то что каждая новая версия больше и тормознутее.

Я долго пользовался Windows 98, когда другие уже использовали XP. Я даже пропатчил Doom 3 так что он смог запускаться на 98-й. (Исправить пришлось всего один байт, так что, похоже, его несовместимость с этой осью была искусственной).

Дальше я так же долго использовал XP. Патчил по возможности несовместимые программы, но однажды их стало слишком много. А также они стали занимать намного больше ОЗУ, а XP не видит память больше 2 гигабайт.

Теперь я использую Windows 7 x64. До сих пор получаю обновления (ESU Bypass) и буду их получать до 2023 года примерно. Дальше посмотрим.

Относительно недавно была выпущена новая версия Python 3.9, которая не совместима с Windows 7. У меня было три варианта:

Перейти на Windows 10
Оставаться на ветке Python 3.8
Сделать свой форк питона, в котором исправить несовместимость

Ну и выбрал я, конечно, третий вариант. Скачал исходники версии 3.8.6 и 3.9.0 и начал сравнивать Meld-ом.

Во-первых, поправить пришлось ToolsmsibundlebootstrapPythonBootstrapperApplication.cpp

Это часть инсталлятора, которая, помимо всего прочего, определяет операционную систему, в функции ValidateOperatingSystem. Скопировал туда код из 3.8.6.

Теперь что касается работоспособности самого питона. Вот патч, который поломал совместимость с Windows 7.

В ветке 3.8 тот же самый «unsafe DLL load» был решен другим способом — заменой LoadLibraryW на LoadLibraryExW с добавлением аргумента LOADLIBRARYSEARCH_SYSTEM32:

Это именно то, чего я хочу от 3.9.

Ну а дальше все просто и банально — сделал форк, убрал ненужные ветки и тэги, внес нужные изменения (помимо этих двух файлов понадобилось поправить еще три), сбилдил и сделал релиз.

На сегодняшний день это уже второй релиз, потому что питон обновился до 3.9.1, и конечно, я внес соответствующие изменения.

В файле Win7.rst инструкции по сборке, и есть два готовых релиза. Я не знаю, может там остались еще какие-то несовместимости, хотя, по идее, не должны, у меня пока никаких ошибок не вылезало. Но если вдруг наткнетесь, пишите багрепорт, буду очень благодарен.

Unofficial Python Installers for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003 R2

Officially, Python 3.9 to 3.11 are not supported on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003 R2. Here, you can obtain unofficial Windows installers that bring back support for these older Windows versions.

For each Python version, this repository includes the following.

64-bit executable installer (e.g. python-3.9.0-amd64-full.exe)
32-bit executable installer (e.g. python-3.9.0-full.exe)
64-bit embeddable zip file (e.g. python-3.9.0-embed-amd64.zip)

For the more technical among you, these installers were built from the source distributions published at https://www.python.org/downloads/source/, with the following modifications.

Include the file api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll in the distribution. This file was obtained from https://github.com/nalexandru/api-ms-win-core-path-HACK and is necessary for Python to run on older Windows versions.
Create full installers that include debugging symbols and debug binaries without needing to download them.
Allow the installer to proceed on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003 R2.
For Python 3.11, do not build ARM64 binaries, and revert changes to the Python launcher that are no longer compatible with Windows 7.
Fix a few bugs in the build scripts.

Ограничения есть только для виндовс хр, там максим можно поставить python3.4

А так лучше ставь не последнюю версию — python 3.9,
А поставь python 3.8.3 — там багов меньше, по крайней мере полгода я ей пользуюся

У меня Windows 7 и когда я скачиваю там пишется то что типа версия не подходит что то такое

Совместима ли версия языка компилятора Python версии 3.8.0 с Виндовс 7 64 бит версия виндовс Домашняя Расширенная? Процессор Амд Атлон 2. Потока 2 ядра частота 2.7. память 4Gb. Видеокарта Радеон. 5670 1Gb? поставил на старый компьютер версию пайтона решил программированием заняться но почему то программу видимо или не удалось установить или в общем на рабочем столе ее нету.
Какая версия Windows пойдет для 4.37Gb на диске? Желательно говорить ту которую более младше. (То есть, не Windows 1.0 (к примеру 237Mb) а Windows 2.0 (к примеру 654Mb)

Python (Питон) — высокоуровневый язык программирования общего назначения с минималистичным синтаксисом. Создан под влиянием языка ABC для обучения программированию. Другими словами, простой в изучении, очень понятный и универсальный язык.

«Питонов» существует много. Так называют и абстрактный интерфейс, и различные реализации (имплементации) Python. Главное, что следует понять: Python — это именно интерфейс. И CPython — эталонная реализация Python, которая считается стандартом де-факто. Но есть и другие реализации: Jython, PyPy, IronPython.

На Python отсутствуют ANSI, ISO или другие официальные стандарты. Их роль выполняет CPython. Эта реализация написана на C, и часто её называют просто Python. Поэтому вопрос «Как скачать Python?» обычно подразумевает установку реализации СPython.

СPython компилирует исходный код Python в байт-код, а затем интерпретирует этот байт-код, запуская его на виртуальной машине. В файлах с расширением .py хранится исходный код программ, а в файлах с расширением .pyc — «промежуточный» код.

Исходник Python можно писать хоть в «Блокноте» Windows, неважно. Цифровой код обработают все вышеупомянутые компиляторы и интерпретаторы. Пусть они сгенерируют совершенно разный байт-код, но результаты выполнения программы не будут различаться.

Итак, нужен стандартный интерпретатор CPython, установим его.

Все релизы для доступных операционных систем перечислены на странице официального сайта python.org. Последняя сборка Python на данный момент — 3.7.4. Неважно, какую конкретно версию Python вы скачаете, — главное, чтобы её номер начинался с цифры 3.

Далее запускаем скачанный файл. По умолчанию в комплекте устанавливаются IDLE (среда разработки Python-программ), документация, менеджер пакетов pip (для скачивания и установки других пакетов на Python), стандартный набор тестов и Python Launcher для запуска программ с расширением .py.

На следующем этапе выберите путь установки и укажите «Установку для всех пользователей» (Install for all users).

Python входит в состав большинства дистрибутивов Linux. Но если хотите самостоятельно скомпилировать последнюю версию CPython или на вашей системе его нет, исходники лежат здесь.

Сборка запускается стандартной командой:

Python также входит в комплект macOS, как и в большинство сборок Linux. Последняя версия лежит на странице официального сайта.

В комплекте c Python устанавливается IDLE — это среда разработки Python-программ. Здесь пишут код, сохраняют написанные программы и запускают их.

Напишем стандартную программу «Hello, world!» в адаптированном варианте.

Вот так легко мы установили CPython, запустили среду разработки, написали первую программу и запустили её на исполнение в виртуальной машине.

Вместо компилятора/интерпретатора CPython иногда используют альтернативные, написанные на других языках и лучше стыкующиеся с другими технологиями. Например, Jython и виртуальную машину JVM (для платформы Java). Или IronPython, написанный полностью на C# и предназначенный для .NET.
