I love them, I’ve had this one and also the Series X version but this are my favorites because the buttons are softer than the others. I have no connections or interference issues, is a flawless experience. I have them connected to the wireless adapter

Amazon recommends a two-pack rechargeable battery pack for this controller under the «Frequently bought together» section. Both battery packs fit, but you will have two leftover pack covers dependent on which controller you have (XB1 or Series X/S). Also, the ones that fit are kind of a pain to fit perfectly and I worry about breaking the plastic when trying to fit it in

3. Cannot be connected to a laptop directly. Need to connect to a receiver.
4. In todays world i would recommend to get the one which where you dont need to replace the batteries and you can directly pair to a laptop.

works well. Used to travel with this guy and it always held up well. Five years in and it’s still as if I bought it yesterday. I can’t complain.

I will be blunt…I hate microsoft. I hated when they got into gaming I’ve hated almost everything they have ever done in gaming…that being said…this seems to be an exception.

while this controllers analog sticks are probably the weakest feature they work well enough. Where I was really impressed was with the considerations made for the end user. having a AA battery pack may seem like a bad idea at first but with rechargeable AA batteries this is obviously the ideal solution for no downtime and gets rid one of the most common points of failure for most controllers. the battery. The wifi dongle included with the controller works well I have never had an issue.

I also rather enjoy being able to turn any pair of headphones into wireless headphones via the plug on the bottom. it’s honestly a better solution then actual wireless headphones. no more worries about having to make sure the headset is charged up. interference with other wireless devices or having to deal with a cord stretched over your play space.

the one complaint I have is the analog sticks. it mostly seems like in this department they are going backwards on purpose to make the «elite» controller more valuable. these sticks don’t feel as graceful or precise as previous xbox controllers I have used so I can only conclude this is intentional since quality sticks are not a make or break to the cost of manufacturing. These feel like one step up from Mad Katz. so it cost them a star.

I didn’t read reviews before buying but once I got this I did. First i noticed I got a Different d pad than what was in the images. And I guess this exact ssme thing happened to one other person. The Controller looks used and the d pad is different. So weird. It works but I am a little worried. Is this old, will ot break sooner? Plus I bought it to get the other d pad. Unfortunately I can’t even exchange now since I guess it’s sold out. No one but Amazon is showing this controller with this dpad.dead.

I’ve been needing a controller to play some games on PC and this is probably the best controller for the money that you can get for PC. I’ve been playing video games all my life so I’ve listed a couple of the things that I’ve noticed leave an impact on gamers.

Pros:
-Long lasting charge (I’ve been playing for 3 days at around 4-5 hours/day and it hasn’t died yet)
-Very ergonomic & comfortable in your hand, much more so than Playstation controllers
-Very smooth analog sticks and triggers, much smoother than the Playstation’s analogs and triggers
-Buttons aren’t too sticky like old generations
-Buttons are all tactile and register nice clicks on presses
-Perfectly compatible with Windows 10 & Steam so setup and configurability was a breeze
-Controller is textured, so your hands get a good grip on the controller
-The way the batteries are removable on these controller is nice because you can swap rechargeable battery packs instead of having to plug in your controller. This is a big plus over the Playstation controllers I think.

Cons:
-Takes AA batteries, but you can put battery packs in the controller instead of batteries and just use rechargeable battery packs. IMO the controller should have battery packs instead of AA batteries, but battery packs can be bought off Amazon for ~$20 so it’s not a big deal, and they let you charge one battery while you play using the other battery and just swap them.

Conclusion
Quality controller that has a better battery design, ergonomics, and controls than most of the competition and is easily compatible with PC’s. It’s a win in my book.
