For optimal MCS9904 hardware performance, you should update your device drivers once every few months.
MCS9904 Drivers Are Compatible with What OSes?
MCS9904 is supported by Windows.
What’s the Update Instructions for MCS9904 Drivers?

What Is the Function of MosChip Ethernet Adapter Drivers?
Device drivers, such as those created specifically by MosChip for the MCS9904, facilitate clear communication between the Ethernet Adapter and the operating system.
Common Driver Update Issues
MCS9904 errors are often caused by viruses of outdated and corrupted device drivers. Device drivers can be functional one day, and then stop functioning the next day due to a number of causes. The exciting news is that you can likely update the Ethernet Adapter device drivers in order to avoid malfunctions.
Finding the correct Ethernet Adapter driver directly on the manufacturer’s website for your hardware might seem futile. The process of upgrading the MCS9904’s device drivers, even for an experienced computer user, can still take long periods of time and become repetitive to execute periodically. Installing the wrong driver, or simply an incompatible version of the right driver, can make your problems even worse.
It is generally advised to use a driver software as updates can be time consuming and complex. A driver update tool ensures that you have correct driver versions for your hardware, and also creates a backup of your current drivers before making any changes. Driver backup files offer the security of a rollback feature and an ability to revert to a previous version (if necessary).
