HOW TO SET UP KOMPLETE AUDIO 1, 2 & 6

Native Access is a small cloud-based application that handles downloads, installation, and updates for Native Instruments software. It’s the easiest way to get all your music creation tools ready for use, so you can spend more time making music and less time managing products.

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, AND RUN NATIVE ACCESS

Select ‘Add serial’, and enter your KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 or KOMPLETE AUDIO 2 serial number as shown on the flyer in your product box or on the underside of your hardware unit.

Click the link below and follow the directions on the Steinberg website to get your free copy of Cubase LE.

Use the download access code included on the flyer inside your product box on the Steinberg website to get your Cubase LE download and serial number.

IMPORTANT: When you run Native Access for the first time, you’ll be asked to ‘select a target folder’. Welcome to the KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 Quick Start Guide.

You will learn how to use the KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 for audio playback and recording. If you have some experience already, feel free to jump straight into any section using the navigation above. For beginners, we recommend spending some time reading through the whole guide.

First take a look at the features to get an overview:

Connect your microphone, guitar, bass, or synthesizer here. For microphones, use an XLR cable. For guitars, basses, and synthesizers, use a 1/4 inch jack cable. The GAIN knob next to the input controls the input level.

LINE / INST

Select LINE when using the corresponding input with a synthesizer or any other line level source. Select INST when using a guitar or bass.

Enable the 48V power supply (phantom power) for IN 1’s and IN 2’s XLR connector when using a condenser microphone.

MONO/STEREO

Select MONO when listening to mono sources connected to the inputs via headphones (direct monitoring). Select STEREO when listening to a stereo source connected to either IN 1 and IN 2 or IN 3 and IN 4.

Select 1-2 to listen to IN 1 and IN 2 via headphones (direct monitoring). Select 3-4 to listen to IN 3 and IN 4. Note that the INPUT/HOST knob needs to be turned to the left in order to listen to the inputs via headphones.

INPUT/HOST

Adjust the balance between the inputs (direct monitoring) and the audio from the computer for the headphones output. Note that the 1-2/3-4 switch needs to be set to the pair of inputs you want to listen to.

HEADPHONES OUTPUTS

Connect your headphones here. The knob above each of the outputs controls the headphones volume.

OUT1/2 VOLUME

Control the output level of the outputs on the back of the device, OUT 1 and OUT 2.

METERING

Status LEDs

Check the status of the USB connection and the 48V microphone power supply (phantom power) as well as activity on the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT.

IN 3 and IN 4

Connect additional equipment here using 1/4 inch jack cables, for example, an external effects processor.

Connect your stereo system or active loudspeakers here using 1/4 inch jack cables.

Мы как то уже писали ранее про установку девайсов Native Instruments на Windows 7 тут По этому может где то повторимся.

NI KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 и Windows 7. Нюансы установки. Краткая инструкция по установке драйвера

Итак краткая инструкция по установке.

После установки стоит убедится что они установились, путь к драйверу будет выглядеть так (если конечно вы не указали другое место установки): C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsKomplete Audio 6 Driver

Шаг 2. Подключаем KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 к компьютеру. (желательно подключатся к одному и тому же USB порту всегда. Нежелательно подключатся к USB портам версии 3.0 а также подключать девайс через USB хаб).

После подключения карты Windows 7 конечно не определит устройство и оно не будет работать. На верхней панели KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 светодиоды будут мигать.

И проводим такие действия с ним:

— Находим функцию «Обновить драйвер» и выбираем метод «Установить вручную из указанного места»

— Далее Windows предложит указать путь к драйверу, вы должны указать папку куда вы скидывали драйвер. (в нашем примере это C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsKomplete Audio 6 Driver ), не забываем поставить галочку «Включая вложенные подпапки», и нажать кнопку «далее».

Возможны два варианта последующего ответа от Windows или устройство установится или выдаст сообщение «Устройство не нуждается в обновлении драйверов».

В таком случае следует провести следующие действия:

В том же Диспетчере устройств находим раздел «Контроллеры USB» и ищем такие названия «Составное USB устройство». (Их может быть как одно так и несколько). Одно из этих «Составных USB устройств» и есть наш KOMPLETE AUDIO 6.

— Находим функцию «Обновить драйвер» и выбираем метод «Установить вручную из указанного места»

— Далее Windows предложит указать путь к драйверу, вы должны указать папку куда вы скидывали драйвер. (в нашем примере это C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsKomplete Audio 6 Driver ), не забываем поставить галочку «Включая вложенные подпапки», и нажать кнопку «далее».

После того как вы нашли нужное «Составное USB устройство» и обновили драйвер. Windows выдаст сообщение что драйвер обновлен, после чего устройство должно работать нормально, а Led индикаторы (на верхней панели KOMPLETE AUDIO 6) светится ровно не мигая.

Так же рекомендуем использовать панель настройки карты (под программу) которую можно найти вместе с установленными драйверами C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsKomplete Audio 6 Driver.
