Godex BZB 2 — муки настройки

Не так давно, столкнулся со старым принтером этикеток Godex BZB 2. Данный принтер не имеет для подключения разъема USB и работает только по LPT.  Но как мы все давно знаем, LPT порт на современных компьютерах уже не используется. Первая мысль, что можно подключить его через переходник USB-LPT не увенчалась успехом. Заказав и купив такой переходник, при подключении к компу клиента, я увидел еще одну большую проблему.

Оказывается НЕТ драйверов для 64-битных систем, а у клиента как раз стояла windows 10 x64. Бороздил я просторы интернета два дня, но к сожалению драйвера под данную модель нет, что и указано на многих сайтах который продавали данный девайс.

Забрал принтер к себе и начал проводить эксперименты на 32-битной винде, но к сожалению с этим переходником, принтер «не взлетел». Переходник установился, LPT порт в системе есть. Но принтер не печатает 🙁

Проникся мыслью, что переходник все же не корректно работает. Заказал другой, рисковать с USB-LPT не стал, взял контроллер PSI-E X1 (ORIENT XWT-PE2S1PV2 ), который устанавливается прямо в материнскую плату.

Радости моей не было предела, когда я поставил контроллер, установил на него драйвера и старинный Godex BZB-2 начал моментально отпечатывать этикетки! Но она длилась не так долго, ведь клиент имеет компьютер с 64-битной виндой… И возможности перехода на 32-бита, просто нет.

Опять начал бороздить просторы интернета, некоторые предлагают библиотеки для печати в порт на прямую. И меня это все не устраивало. Клиент работает с штатной программой  Qlabel-II.

Итог, радостный и веселый

Кто ищет, тот всегда найдет! Спустя еще пол дня упорных поисков драйверов, нашел! Драйвер поставился на windows 10 64x, без лишних вопросов, указав LPT порт и задав размеры этикетки в настройках принтера, моментально отпечаталась этикетка. Кто столкнется с такой же проблемой, ниже я приложу ссылку на скачивание драйвера, я даже специально сохранил его себе, что бы не потерять. Ведь у клиента есть еще такие принтера и не известно, придется ли их переносить но современные компы или нет.
