Программа по умолчанию для всех пользователей в терминальном сервере

    Подскажите как навести порядок ? возможно ли задать умолчание для всех пользователей например jpg открывать через просмотрщик windows psd через photoshop итд

    Synopsis:

    Windows server 2008 R2.

    Client pc´s : W7

    Am challenged by a strange puzzle — we have recently upgraded from office2003 to office2007, and fore some reason this caused the file associations for eg. .tif files to dissapear. I managed to find a healthy regfile and re-import this to our client pc´s
    — to restore the default program association via a GPO. Now .tif files is opened by the program «Windows Photoviewer» — but I would like .tif files to be opened by the office 2007 MSPV.exe

    There are quite som hacks to achieve this, but are you familiar with a good way of doing this via GPO. I see that under GPO ->User settings -> control panel settings -> folder options I can set the value «open with» — but is not able to find the
    application mspv.exe as the office 2007 is not installed on the server. (I read something about server side client extensions ? — but is unable to locate any for w7)

     Any ideas how to solve this.

  • To create a new Open With preference item

    1. Open the Group Policy Management Console. Right-click the Group Policy object (GPO) that should contain the new preference item, and then click
      Edit.

    2. In the console tree under User Configuration, expand the
      Preferences       folder, and then expand the Control Panel Settings folder.

    3. Right-click the Folder Options node, point to New, and select
      Open With.

    4. In the New Open With Properties dialog box, select an
      Action       for Group Policy to perform. (For more information, see «Actions» in this topic.)

    5. Enter Open With settings for Group Policy to configure or remove. (For more information, see «Open With settings» in this topic.)

    6. Click the Common tab, configure any options, and then type your comments in the
      Description box.

    7. Click OK. The new preference item appears in the details pane.

  • The «Open With» Preference setting will do the job. Even if the app is not installed on the server where you’re editing policy, you can manually type in the full path to the .exe as it would exist on the client. Or, you can install the Remote Server Administration
    Tools (RSAT) on one of your Win7 machines where the app is installed and edit the GPO from there. You don’t need any special client-side extensions as your clients on Win7 already have the GP Preferences extensions. The «server-side extension» is just the
    MMC snap-in in the GP Editor that gives you the ability to edit GP Preferences settings like «Open With» If you can see the «Preferences» container in a GPO, then you have the correct snap-in (its installed by default on Win7 with RSAT and Server 2008-R2).

На терминальных серверах под управлением Windows Server 2008 R2 по умолчанию отсутствует программа для просмотра графических файлов (именно для просмотра а не редактирования, типа Paint). Если используется Office 2010, то можно в качестве просмотрщика основных типов графических файлов использовать входящую в его состав программу “Диспетчер рисунков Microsoft Office”.

Вот пример простого но действенного reg файла который можно использовать в логон-скриптах:

Применение таких настроек не затронет основных системных ассоциаций а лишь переопределит для текущего пользователя приложение с помощью которого будут открываться определённые типы графических файлов.

Ещё более предпочтительным вариантом в данной ситуации будет применение не логон-скриптов, а использование Пользовательского раздела параметров GPP (Group Policy Preferences) групповых политик применяемых на терминальных серверах (User Configuration > Preferences > Windows Settings > Registry).


Применение механизма нацеливания GPP позволит при необходимости настраивать разные ассоциации для одних и тех же типов файлов в зависимости от разных условий, исходя из задачи которая перед нами ставится.

Изменить ассоциацию файлов в Windows можно несколькими способами. Настроить приложение, с помощью которого будут открываться те или иные типы файлов можно из графического интерфейса пользователя, однако эта настройка будет применяться только для того пользователя, в профиле которого будет произведена данная настройка. К счастью управлять меню «Открыть с помощью» (Open With), с помощью которого, собственно, и можно настроить  ассоциированное приложение для различных типов файлов, можно  с помощью специальной настройки Group Policy Preferences. В данном примере, я покажу, как с помощью Group Policy Preferences можно изменить ассоциацию для файлов типа .TXT со стандартного Notepad на WordPad. Также данный способ применим и к другим файлам (xls, doc и т.д)

Исходный домен:

dsquery user -name alektest

"CN=AlekTest,OU=User,OU=<вложенный_контейнер>,DC=<ваш_домен>,DC=<суффикс>"

Пользовательский контейнерCоздадим политику с привязкой к контейнеру где распологаются доменные учетные записи.

Созданная политика Редактируем политику GPO_File, щелкаем правой кнопкой мыши на политике и выбираем – изменить.

Открываем политику на редактирование.Переходим в контейнер конфигурирования на пользователя.

Конфигурация пользователя – Настройка – Параметры панели управления – Создать – Открыть с помощью.

Добавляем правила для приложений.Далее откроется меню настройки «Открыть с помощью»

Сделаем для приложения wordpad, поясню любое приложение с расширение файла txt будет открываться WordPad, а не notepad.exe (как принято по умолчанию).

Следует использовать переменные окружения для путей до исполняемых файлов.

%ProgramFiles%Windows NTAccessorieswordpad.exe

Порядок действий:

  • Выбрать расширение
  • Указать путь к программе, которая должна открывать файлы данного типа
  •  Опционально можно отметить галочку “Set as default” (Установить приложение в качестве обработчика по-умолчанию) и нажмать “OK”.

Расширение файла и полный путь до исполняемого приложения.Вот результат настройки политики — я применял как на текстовые файлы, так и на файлы Office 2003, чтобы файлы xls и doc открывались по умолчанию в Office 2010.

Пример результирующей политики, как для txt, doc, xls.

Вуаля, на этом установка закончена.

Чтобы политика применилась нужно сделать Logoff/Logon.

Я хочу установить стандартную почтовую программу (в том числе .eml-файлы, MAILTO и Mapi) для всех пользователей Windows Terminal Server 2008. Мне сказали, что «свойства групповой политики» могут сделать что-то подобное.

неофициальный метод для входа в систему в качестве администратора сервера, перейдите в Свойства обозревателя и поставить там почтовый клиент. Это изменяет параметр реестра в HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareClientsMail и изменения наследуются всеми пользователями.
