Introduction

Locale Emulator is a tool similar to AppLocale and NTLEA, providing a simulation function that can make an application recognize your OS as in a language other than the real one. It is quite useful when you are trying to play country-specific games.

Installation

Fresh installation

1. >> Download the executable from Github or from MEGA<<
2. Extract all files into a SAFE place in your disk, because you will NOT be able to move these files after installation.

3. Run LEInstaller.exe and choose one of:

   1. Install as current user: effect for current user only, does not require administrator privileges;
   2. Install for all users: the most reliable choice, require administrator privileges;
   3. Portable: necessary files have been extracted as LEInstaller.exe starts. Simply close the window.
4. Now you will see “Locale Emulator” menu in the context menu when right-clicking on files.

Upgrade

1. Download the executable from Github or from MEGA, extract and overwrite all files of the old version.
2. Run LEInstaller.exe and click the correct “Install” button (the one you have chosen before). If you are not sure which one to choose, simply uninstall and install again (restart is not required during this process).

Uninstallation

Думаю, ни для кого не секрет что зачастую программы и игры из страны восходящего солнца отказываются работать на Windows-системах с локалью, отличной от японской. Причина на то обычно довольно простая: зачастую файлы в творениях японских программистов названы иероглифами и их имена портятся при распаковке, либо сама программа не может обратиться к файлам по японским именам.

Одним из решений проблемы с распаковкой является использование подходящих архиваторов, однако для запуска вам всё равно потребуется японская локаль. Также, используя японскую локаль можно распаковывать игру вашим привычным 7zip или WinRAR и имена будут в порядке. Если игра распостраняется в виде установщика, а не архива, это также остаётся почти единственным решением проблемы.

Самым простым способом смены локали Windows является простое переключение её в настройках. Однако такой способ крайне неудобен: для смены локали туда и обратно каждый раз потребуется закрытие всех програм и перезаход в систему. Поэтому гораздо удобнее воспользоваться программами, которые эмулируют нужную локаль, благо их довольно много.

Самым старейшим эмулятором локали является Microsoft Applocale. Не устанавливайте его! Поскольку данный эмулятор написан рукоjопами Microsoft, при установке он вносит в систему некоторые изменения, которые в дальнейшем доставят вам множество головной боли. Например, установщики многих программ начнут использовать японский язык при установке и даже удаление программы это не исправит.

Существуют различные программы от более толковых людей для этой цели, сейчас я перечислю их.

Идёшь Пуск — Параметры — Время и язык:

Данное решение подходит для Windows 8.1 и 10. Для поздних версий подходит более простые решения такие как Applocale или смена языка.

ХОД ДЕЙСТВИЙ ПОСЛЕ СКАЧИВАНИЯ:

• Распаковать архив;
• Переместить папку, где она будет храниться ПОСТОЯННО;
  . Путь к этой папке должен содержать только латинские буквы, цифры и другие байтовые символы.
• Запустить файл «LEInstaller.exe» в папке;
• Нажать «Install for current user»;

Программа пропишется в реестре Windows.

• Нажать «OK» и закрыть окно;
• Запустить файл «LEGUI.exe», выбрать желаемые критерии и нажать «Save As … «.

1) Выбираем местоположение: Китай (упрощенное письмо КНР, можно и просто Китай упрощенное письмо или Сингапур);

2) Вставляем Временную зону UTC+8 Гонконг, Пекин…; 3) Поставить галки в Дополнительных настройках как показано на скрине.

Нажимаем СОХРАНИТЬ КАК, вписываем ИМЯ ПРОФИЛЯ и сохраняем.

• Открыть папку с игрой, найти файл »x52″.exe, нажать правой кнопкой мыши по файлу, найти строку со стрелкой «Отправить на/Send to», навести на нее, найти среди строк «Рабочий стол/Desktop» и нажать;
• Найти созданный ярлык на рабочем столе, нажать правой кнопкой мыши по нему, найти строку со стрелкой «Эмулятор локали», навести на нее, найти среди строк «Изменить профиль приложения» и нажать;
• Ввести старые, желаемые критерии снова и нажать «Сохранить как»;

На рабочем столе появится РАБОЧИЙ ярлык с названием «x52».
Открывшееся окно игры, уже можно использовать.

Как включить японскую локаль windows 10

Дело в том, что из-за несовместимости языков, многие не могут запускать такие игры как Yume 2kki, .flow и Yume Nisshi.
В этом гайде я расскажу, как поставить эмулятор региона — Applocale

1) что делает эта программа?
в нашем случае, она позволит запускать игры так, будто они запущены на японской системе.
Проблема в том, что запуская японские игры на например русской системе, названия файлов (на японском, разумеется) не могут быть адекватно прочтены для запуска, поэтому и нужен AppLocale.

2)ПОСОНЫ НЕ КАЧАЙТЕ ТАМ ВИРУС ПИШУ С МИКРОВОЛНОВКИ!
Applocale был создан майкрософтом, и скачивается с их же сайта

3)можно ли запускать не только фангеймы Yume Nikki?
Да, эта программа эмулирует любой .exe

Итак, начнём:
УСТАНОВКА ДЛЯ WINDOWS XP
1) Вам понадобится диск с виндоус
Зайдите в Панель Управления
откройте «Язык и региональные стандарты»
найдите и отметьте галочку «Установить файлы для Восточных языков» (в таком духе)
жмите окей
Вставьте диск и ждите, пока не закончится
2) установка Applocale и пункта меню

Пункт меню добавит в меню правой кнопки мыши пункт «Japanese locale» через который и запускаются файлы

скачайте отсюда архив с ключами реестра, которые добавят пункт меню

Просто установите Applocale, а затем распакуйте архив. В нём будут два файла — Install.reg и Uninstall.reg . Как можно догадаться, один файл устанавливает (Install) а другой удаляет.

3) Затем, установка японского RTP
RTP это пакет расширений для RPG Maker — программы в которой были созданы все игры

Качайте RTP поискав его в гугле.
После скачивания, распакуйте файл. Правой кнопкой мыши на него — Japanese locale.
RTP установится

Теперь, вы сможете играть в любую японскую игру ^_^

Запуск через Locale Emulator

• Находим созданный ярлык на рабочем столе. При помощи ПКМ выбираем действие “Эмулятор локали” –> “Изменить профиль приложения”.
• Заново вводим все параметры и нажимаем “Создать ярлык”.

На рабочем столе появится РАБОЧИЙ ярлык с названием “x52”.
Открывшееся окно игры, уже можно использовать. Ярлык можно переименовывать. Первый ярлык удалить.

Обратите внимание на свойство ярлыка. Если вы сделали все правильно, он будет меть такой вид.

Introduction

Locale Emulator is a tool similar to AppLocale and NTLEA, providing a simulation function that can make an application recognize your OS as in a language other than the real one. It is quite useful when you are trying to play country-specific games.

Installation

Fresh installation

1. >> Download the executable from Github or from MEGA<<
2. Extract all files into a SAFE place in your disk, because you will NOT be able to move these files after installation.

3. Run LEInstaller.exe and choose one of:

   1. Install as current user: effect for current user only, does not require administrator privileges;
   2. Install for all users: the most reliable choice, require administrator privileges;
   3. Portable: necessary files have been extracted as LEInstaller.exe starts. Simply close the window.
4. Now you will see “Locale Emulator” menu in the context menu when right-clicking on files.

Upgrade

1. Download the executable from Github or from MEGA, extract and overwrite all files of the old version.
2. Run LEInstaller.exe and click the correct “Install” button (the one you have chosen before). If you are not sure which one to choose, simply uninstall and install again (restart is not required during this process).

Uninstallation

1. Run LEInstaller.exe and click all not-grey “Uninstall” buttons.
2. Reboot your computer and delete all Locale Emulator files.

Clone the repo using Git, install Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 / 2017, open LocaleEmulator.sln, perform build action, clone and build the core libraries, and copy LoaderDll.dll and LocaleEmulator.dll from Locale-Emulator-Core to Locale-Emulator build folder.

ХОД ДЕЙСТВИЙ ПОСЛЕ СКАЧИВАНИЯ:

• Распаковать архив;
• Переместить папку, где она будет храниться ПОСТОЯННО;
  !!! Путь к этой папке должен содержать только латинские буквы, цифры и другие байтовые символы.
• Запустить файл “LEInstaller.exe” в папке;
• Нажать “Install for current user”;

Программа пропишется в реестре Windows.

• Нажать “OK” и закрыть окно;
• Запустить файл “LEGUI.exe”, выбрать желаемые критерии и нажать “Save As … “.

1) Выбираем местоположение: Китай (упрощенное письмо КНР, можно и просто Китай упрощенное письмо или Сингапур); 2) Вставляем Временную зону  UTC+8 Гонконг, Пекин…;

• Находим созданный ярлык на рабочем столе. При помощи ПКМ выбираем действие «Эмулятор локали» —> «Изменить профиль приложения».
• Заново вводим все параметры и нажимаем «Создать ярлык».

На рабочем столе появится РАБОЧИЙ ярлык с названием “x52”.
Открывшееся окно игры, уже можно использовать. Ярлык можно переименовывать. Первый ярлык удалить.
Обратите внимание на свойство ярлыка. Если вы сделали все правильно, он будет меть такой вид.

Программа пропишется в реестре Windows.

Locale Emulator is compatible with the following systems, both 32 and 64-bit:

Locale Emulator supports 32-bit executables running on both 32-bit or 64-bit systems. For example, if you are using 64-bit WinRAR, you will not see the context menu on a RAR file unless you swapped 64-bit WinRAR with the 32-bit version.

Common installation problems

Google Chrome is blocking the download.

Please go to the “Downloads” page ( chrome://downloads/ ) and select “Recover file”.

My antivirus software reports that LocaleEmulator.dll is a virus.

Make sure that you have downloaded the binary from the official website. You can ignore that warning if everything is okay.

Думаю, ни для кого не секрет что зачастую программы и игры из страны восходящего солнца отказываются работать на Windows-системах с локалью, отличной от японской. Причина на то обычно довольно простая: зачастую файлы в творениях японских программистов названы иероглифами и их имена портятся при распаковке, либо сама программа не может обратиться к файлам по японским именам.

Одним из решений проблемы с распаковкой является использование подходящих архиваторов, однако для запуска вам всё равно потребуется японская локаль. Также, используя японскую локаль можно распаковывать игру вашим привычным 7zip или WinRAR и имена будут в порядке. Если игра распостраняется в виде установщика, а не архива, это также остаётся почти единственным решением проблемы.

Самым простым способом смены локали Windows является простое переключение её в настройках. Однако такой способ крайне неудобен: для смены локали туда и обратно каждый раз потребуется закрытие всех програм и перезаход в систему. Поэтому гораздо удобнее воспользоваться программами, которые эмулируют нужную локаль, благо их довольно много.

Самым старейшим эмулятором локали является Microsoft Applocale. Не устанавливайте его! Поскольку данный эмулятор написан рукоjопами Microsoft, при установке он вносит в систему некоторые изменения, которые в дальнейшем доставят вам множество головной боли. Например, установщики многих программ начнут использовать японский язык при установке и даже удаление программы это не исправит.

Существуют различные программы от более толковых людей для этой цели, сейчас я перечислю их.
Ни один из эмуляторов не является универсальным решением, так что если игра не работает с одним, просто попробуйте другие! Архиваторы и установщики, как правило, работают с любым из списка.

Более молодой эмулятор. При установке добавляет пункт запуска с японской локалью в контекстное меню проводника.

Ну тут всё предельно понятно, даже добавить нечего.
Позволяет запустить некоторые более свежие 64-разрядные приложения, с которыми не всегда справляется NTLEAS.

Запуск приложения с японской локалью осуществляется командой:
SBAppLocale.exe 1041 «C:путь-до-приложения.exe»
Пользовался я им мало, поэтому про охват работающих приложений ничего не скажу.
