I just installed the drivers (v1.0) on Samsung’s website for the Samsung Odyssey G9 (G95), stupidly, and now my colors seem completely wrong. ( https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?modelCode=LC49G95TSSNXZA ) They were perfect before, but I never customized them (they were out of the box). The drivers just seem to install this ‘SAMSUNG monitor installer’, in which I hit a button and click ok; no means of customizing anything. Is there any way I can undo this?
Update: I managed to find them and uninstall them not through the Windows 10 programs UI, but the Programs and Features section in the Control Panel. But my colors are still wrong. I suspect this changed the ‘Color management’ area under Control Panel. But how can I restore a better color gamut or what not?
Update: I think what I need is an ICC Profile. So far the internet is not forthcoming as to a good one for this monitor though… Does anyone have a good ICC profile for it?
Update: I found an ICC profile on RTings.com and restarted my computer (took a while to realize I needed to do that to kick a new ICC profile into gear…), and it looks a lot better now, but not quite like it was before? If there’s someone that knows how to restore those color defaults, then I’d welcome an answer on that. Thanks!
