How to Install IPA file using Sideloadly
Note: Before proceeding the below step guide make sure you have all of the following requirements.
- iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch device
- A computer with Windows / Mac OS
- iTunes
- Proper Internet connection
Step 1: Download Sideloadly from the above Download buttons according to your computer OS.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod device to your computer.
Step 3: Run the Sideloadly app.
Step 4: Enter your Apple ID
Step 5: Drag and drop the IPA file that you want to install to the Sideloadly.
Step 6: Then click the Start button and enter the Apple ID password when prompt. Then click OK.
Step 7: Now the installation process will start. Wait for the process will finish.
Step 8: Now you can disconnect your device after the installation process is over.

How long will I be able to use the sideloaded app?
A normal & free Apple Developer account only allows the app to function for 7 days. After 7 days you can sideload it again using the same Apple ID, just make sure your progress is backed up. A paid Apple Developer Account can last up to 1 year.
How can I save my in-game progress?
You need to make sure your game progress is being synced over Game Center, Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. If the game saves its progress locally, you will need to install the modded IPA overwriting the one you already have installed. In order to overwrite, the modified IPA must have the same bundle ID and you must use the same Apple ID when sideloading. See below for more information.
Can I overwrite my current app without removing it?
Yes, it is possible. In order to accomplish this, you need to sideload the modded IPA with the same Apple ID that your previously sideloaded app is with. Meaning you must use the same Apple ID you used to sideload the previous app. The bundle ID must be the same otherwise it will install as a duplicate app.
How many apps can I sideload?
iOS 7, 8, 9: You can sideload as many apps as you like on your device. However, your free developer account has limitations but you can easily bypass those limitations by creating a new Apple ID. On iOS 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and higher, you can only have 3 sideloaded apps installed on your device at the same time. Apple has limited this and will not allow any more free Apple Developer accounts. A paid Apple Developer Account does not have such limitations.
Why can’t I restore my Game Center game progress after sideloading?
With the latest iOS versions, Apple has prevented users from sideloading apps that have the same bundle ID as an App Store app. In order to sideload on the latest iOS versions, we are forced to set a unique bundle ID and in doing so, Game Center does not recognize the app, therefore, will not prompt you to restore your save.
Sideloadly does not show my device?
If this happens, try rebooting your PC, open up iTunes while your device is connected & make sure you tap on ‘Trust’ from the popup on your iDevice. Then open Sideloadly. If this does not help, connect your device and make sure it is recognized by your PC/iTunes then open Sideloadly. You can also try completely uninstalling then reinstalling iTunes.
Does Sideloadly support iOS 16?
Sideloadly should support iOS 7 up to iOS 16.2. However, it was only tested by us on iOS 10 and higher.
How can I use an app-specific Password?
App-specific passwords partially work via Sideloadly. App-specific password can only work if you untick the anisette option in Sideloadly.
Which Windows version does Sideloadly support?
Sideloadly should work on Windows 7, 8 & 10. For the best results, Windows 10 is suggested.
Which Mac version does Sideloadly support?

Step guide (Windows / Mac)
Step 01 – Download Sideloadly from above button according to your computer OS. Then open it.
Step 02 – You should have downloaded the IPA which you want to install on your PC. Connect the device with PC. Drag the downloaded IPA file into Sideloadly tool.
Step 03 – Provide Apple ID and the Password.

Uninstalling the iTunes and then reinstalling the latest version of iTunes.

How to fix : Use an Apple account without two-factor authentication.

If you create a dummy Apple ID, you need to sign in an apple device with the dummy apple ID. When you’re signed in, keep that device connected to the internet and upon installing an app with Sideloadly, the device will be sent the 2FA verification code as a popup. Authorize the access, input the code into Sideloadly and it should work. Then, you can log out of the dummy ID on the device. If you keep the ID details stored in Sideloadly it should work without the error.

How to fix : Reboot the PC & open iTunes while your device is connected. Tap on ‘Trust’ from the popup on your iPhone or iPad. Then open Sideloadly. Still there is an issue, connect your device and check whether it is detected by your PC/iTunes. Then open Sideloadly. If not try completely uninstalling then reinstalling iTunes.

Disadvantage of Sideloadly
There are few disadvantages with Sideloadly. Actually it happens because we use a free Apple developer account. It has some limitations when you are using a free developer account. It may cause the following issues.
- Sideloaded apps revoked
Normally, Apple allows apps to function only for 7 days which are sideloaded using a free Apple developer account. But you can sideload the same app using sideloadly with the same Apple ID. You should back up your progress. However, paid Apple accounts allow you to keep going through this process up to 1 year.
- Can not sideload many apps
You can not sideload many apps like iOS 7 – iOS 9. Now you can only have 3 sideloaded apps installed on iOS 10 – iOS 14 devices with a free developer account. However, you can bypass those limitations by creating a new Apple ID. But the paid Apple Developer Account does not have limitations.

v0.26.5 – Local anisette option for macOS has been improved further, making it more reliable. The Mail app will automatically launch Sideloadly. This is normal and required for local anisette to function, Sideloadly can now update the Mail Plug-In if necessary in the future, Fixed a problem where modified and exported Sideloadly IPAs caused problems when signing with other services, An issue with IPA exporting on Apple Silicon Macs has been resolved, A crash issue that occurred on older macOS versions such as Sierra and High Sierra has been resolved, Other bug fixes and enhancements.
v0.26.3 – Sideloadly for macOS now supports local anisette. This will fix the login issues some users have been experiencing. Please note that this is the initial release so there may be bugs which we will definitely resolve, Sideloadly will support the 3 different ways of obtaining the required data for sideloading: Local, Remote & No Anisette. We also require users to install the Sideloadly Mail plugin in order to grab the necessary data required for sideloading. This will fix the “Unable to login” issue some users have been experiencing. Local Anisette which is the default option now and uses your computer’s local data for sideloading.
Remote Anisette which will use our server to grab the necessary data for sideloading.
No Anisette which is useful if you are using an Apple ID enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, The “Export” option in Sideloadly now works even with no devices plugged in, Fixed an issue with the Cydia Substrate framework which would cause other apps to crash, Fixed a recently introduced issue with the Ad-hoc sign option, Added additional debugging to help us fix the “ascii codec” issue some users are experiencing.

What is Sideloadly?
Sideloadly is a new Windows tool allowing users to sideload IPA files on iOS devices. The software works on the latest iOS 13 but there is also an option to install IPAs on iOS 8+ (doesn’t work with every file). If you use a free Apple Developer account you can sideload only 10 apps and only 3 of them can be active.
This is a great Cydia Impactor Alternative to sign IPA files. An IPA file is an iOS application archive file that stores an iOS app. Each IPA file includes a binary for the ARM architecture and can only be installed on an iOS device. .IPA files can contain jailbreak tools, apps, and games, tweaks, game hacks, and more.
Sideloadly is as easy to use as Impactor. It offers a lot of features starting with the ability to install apps with a free or paid Apple Developer account. What’s more, modify the IPA and change the min iOS version, remove restrictions on supported devices, change the app name on your home screen and application bundle ID (for installation multiple copies of an app).
The latest version of Sideloadly app offers also support for jailbroken devices. Install IPAs onto your jailbroken device without needing to provide your Apple ID. To make this feature work it is required to install AppSync from Cydia.
Other features provided by the software include support for URL Scheme to easily download and install IPA files on iOS devices, display installation logs to understand the process of installation, save your credentials for quick sideloading. Sideloadly uses the technology behind the AltStore workaround and AltPlugin.

Installing – Step Guide
- Firstly, download Sideloadly from the above link and install it by double-clicking.
- Open the installed application from the program files / recently added list.
- Connect your iDevice using the lightning cable. The app should detect the device. For example, check the screenshot
If required, hit the trust button on your iPhone.
- Drag and Drop the IPA from on to Sideloadly. IPA files are available here
- Provide Apple ID and Password, as shown in the screen-shot.
- Upon successful login, enter the Verification Code displayed on your iPhone.
- Wait until the installation of the IPA file completes.
- Also, trust the Developer by going to Settings > Profiles and device management.
- You have successfully sideloaded and IPA file. You can follow the same steps to sideload a Jailbreak IPA file and then open the app from your iDevice.
