Canon ImageClass MF3010n machine uses the laser print technology to produce all-in-one functionality. Its available functions include printing, copying, and scanning to deliver the best performance of output. The printing rate is up to 18 pages per minute (ppm) when using the A4 paper. Besides, the average print resolution is about 600 x 400 dots per inch (dpi). Specifications
The first print out time is about 7.8 seconds and is compatible with the UFRII-LT print language. It leaves a print margin of 5 mm at the top, left, and right, but the bottom margin is about 6 mm. This machine also has a toner saver mode that helps to maintain the print resources. When copying, the rate of reproduction is up to 18 ppm with the A4 paper. Subsequently, the first copy output time is approximately 12 seconds or less.
Its copy resolution is up to 600 x 600 dpi. At the same time, it is compatible with text, photos, and a combination of both text and image. Under multiple copies, this machine can produce up to 9 copies from a single original document. Simultaneously, the zoom range is also between 50 and 200% in 10% gradual increments. Some other notable features of the copying mode include 2-on-1 and the ID card copy. Scanning with this device supports color documents.
Furthermore, the optical resolution in scanning is up to 600 x 600 dpi with a color depth of 24bit/24bit for both input and output. But it also has an enhanced resolution that can reach 9600 x 9600 dpi. The maximum scanning width is about 216 mm, while the standard paper tray can take up to 150 sheets of plain paper. How to install Canon Mf3010 (Installation Guide)
I am glad to share with you a video tutorial that will show you how to install the Canon MF 3010 scanner driver manually using its basic driver.
Method 1: Install Canon imageCLASS MF3010 Printer with the help of CD/DVD (Automatic Wizard)
Requirements:
- Need one CD/DVD Drive installed on your computer.
- Need a Software/Driver CD Disk for Canon imageCLASS MF3010, which came with the printer.
- Need a USB cable that will connect your printer to your computer. It came with the printer.
Follow these steps to install the Canon imageCLASS MF3010 printer with CD/DVD Drive.
- Turn it on your computer, where you need to install the Canon imageCLASS MF3010 printer on it.
- Turn it on the printer as well.
- Keep the printer USB cable unplugged (Do not plug it in until it prompts).
- Insert Canon imageCLASS MF3010 CD into the CD/DVD drive on your computer, run the setup wizard of the CD, and follow their instructions to install it.

If the printer doesn’t copy documents itself (by pressing the copy button physically), then it is a straight sign that your printer might have a hardware issue. We recommend you to please perform the power drain to your printer.
How to perform the power drain :
- Unplug all the cables from the printer.
- Now press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After that, you may plug all the cables back and turn on the printer.
