Overview
GImageX is a freeware GUI for working with imaging WIM files providing an alternative to DISM. It can be used to capture, apply, mount, export, split and delete WIM files. GImageX is provided as a 32-bit and 64-bit native application that can be run even in WinPE. GImageX uses the supported Microsoft WIMGAPI API for working with WIM files.

Installation and Operating System Support
GImageX will run on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 (including the WinPE versions based on these operating systems). Simply run the gimagex.exe or gimagex_x64.exe file as required for your 32-bit or 64-bit architecture. GImageX is a native win32 application and does not require any external runtimes or frameworks.
GImageX should function on Windows XP but will require installation of the WIMGAPI dlls from a copy of the Windows Automated Deployment Kit (Windows ADK). Details are in the help file. This configuration is untested and Windows 7 is recommended instead.

Have you heard about ImageX, it is a powerful command-line utility that an administrator can use to capture the image of an entire hard disk. With this program, the admin can create a single Windows Image Format (WIM) file that contains the operating system and all the content of the files and folders in the computer. The Image has for long been an integral part of the Windows Installation Automated Installation Kit. It is a powerful tool that has been used to create the image of a single Windows installation and deploy the same on multiple workstations that needs the same configuration. However, when the Silicon Valley company released Windows 7, they repackaged the imageX program with a new graphic user interface.
This program gives the added advantage of a GUI in addition to the powerful features of its command-line predecessor. The users with less experience who would like to deploy Windows installation on other workstations will love this program for its user-friendly interface. Moreover, the user can review the content of a WIM file and create modifications before the deployment if the need arises.
This application is a powerful tool for the users and administrators who would like to create, deploy or edit Windows Image Format file.

Установка Windows 11 при помощи GImageX
При помощи утилиты GImageX, попробуем поставить Windows 11 второй, дополнительной системой. Преимущества данного способа таковы: способ простой, как три рубля (справится любая домохозяйка).

Не нужно создавать загрузочную флешку (работаем с жёсткого диска), загрузка универсальная (UEFILegacy), не нужно волноваться за отсутствие модуля TPM 2.0.
Ролик:
Первым делом создаём новый раздел для ОС «нового поколения». Файловая система раздела NTFS, объём приблизительный 80ГБ. ʁ обычно использую MiniTool Partition Wizard (ссылка), ваше право использовать, внутренние средства Windows или любой другой похожий софт.
Кликаем на ISO-образ Windows 11 два раза. Скачать Windows 11 (ссылка). Нас перебросит на виртуальный дисковод. В папке sources находим install.wim и перетаскиваем файлик курсором на Рабочий стол.
Качаем GImageX — графический интерфейс пользователя для инструмента ImageX от Windows.
1. Скачать GimageX En (ссылка).
2. Скачать GimageX Ru (ссылка). На Portable версию с Usbtor, у меня сильно ругается антивирусная программа (рвёт на куски, пришлось временно «вырубить» во время развертывания Windows 11), сами решайте по какой ссылке качать.

Запускаем GimageX. Переходим на вкладку «Применение» → В окне WIM-файл, нажимаем кнопку «Обзор» и находим наш install.wim (Рабочий стол) → Диск назначения (указываем раздел, который вы создали ранее) → Кнопка «Выбрать редакцию» → В «Параметрах» поставьте две галочки → Кнопка «Применить»:
Нажимаем клавиши Win+R, в оснастке «Выполнить» пишем msconfig и переходим на вкладку «Загрузки». Новой записи которая должна отображаться в меню загрузки — нет. Значит, добавим при помощи командной строки, запущенной от имени администратора: bcdboot F:Windows (не ошибитесь с буквой раздела, на который развернули системные файлы Windows 11).
Перезагрузка. И, как завещал вождь мирового пролетариата Владимир Ульянов «Учиться, учится и еще раз учиться работать в операционной системе нового поколения».
