I just create a POSReady 2009 device using a USB key process. When the device starts up for first boot, it ask for a user name and a password that
I didn’t fill out during the creation process. Where can that be found please ?

By default, the administrator user is created and the password is entered during Setup. Additional users may be created and these can all be pre-configured using the Unattend.xml files. Whether it’s installed from USB or DVD makes no difference
as the process is the same. What is the error you are receiving? Can you try a blank password? What languages are you installing? Assuming you have never been able to log on and thus the system isn’t configured, can you restart Setup and try a different password?
I don’t know if this will help but either way let us know. We’re happy to help.
