Windows Phone Internals — приложение, разблокирующее системный загрузчик смартфонов Lumia и предоставляющее доступ к файловой системе Windows Phone 8.1 и Windows 10 Mobile. Тем самым обеспечивается полный контроль над смартфонами линейки Lumia
Кроме этого, Windows Phone Internals позволяет создавать резервные копии образа установленной в телефон системы, а также получить доступ к файловой системе в режиме Mass Storage.
В настоящее время поддерживаются следующие модели Lumia: 520, 521, 525, 620, 625, 720, 820, 920, 925, 928, 1020, 1320, 950 и 950 XL.

По природе своей Windows Phone является закрытой операционной системой, что нельзя сказать о её предшественнице в лице Windows Mobile. Именно с неё началась мода на создание так называемых модифицированных прошивок и именно с неё была взята идея открытости, которая позже стала основой идеей при создании платформы Android. Однако, это не значит, что Windows Phone невозможно взломать. Довольно опытные энтузиасты не прекращают предпринимать попытки по её взлому и периодически у них это удаётся. Первой их жертвой стала Windows Phone 7.5, затем Windows Phone 7.8. Умельцы смогли создать кастомные прошивки, а также модифицированные загрузчики. С их помощью был предоставлен полный доступ к файловой системе и все права на установку каких-либо модифицированных приложений. Были конечно и попытки взломать Windows Phone 8.0, но только один смартфон поддался им – Samsung ATIV S. Умельцы не сдавались и всё это время искали способ по взлому загрузчика и созданию модифицированных прошивок для смартфонов на Windows Phone 8.1, и им это удалось. Вчера, 25 ноября, был опубликован инструмент Windows Phone Internals, позволяющий разблокировать загрузчик, получить Root-доступ.
Автором утилиты является хакер под ником Heathcliff74. В своём блоге он опубликовал видео, где наглядно показывает, какими возможностями обладает его утилита. Пока что она ничем не примечательна для простых пользователей, поскольку лишь занимается подготовкой почвы для создания модифицированных прошивок. Первые результаты в этом направлении должны появиться, когда другие хакеры возьмут на вооружение данную утилиту.
Сейчас Windows Phone Internals могут скачать все желающие. Однако, если вы не разбираетесь во всех тонкостях взлома, советуем вам не экспериментировать со своими смартфонами, чтобы избежать различного рода неисправностей, в том числе и полного окирпичивания смартфонов.
Сейчас Windows Phone Internals обладает поддержкой следующих смартфонов: Lumia: 520, 521, 525, 620, 625, 720, 820, 920, 925, 928, 1020, 1320. Новые смартфоны сейчас не поддерживаются, как и флагманы Lumia 930/1520. Но автор обещает, что в ближайшем будущем он расширит список поддерживаемых смартфонов. Также она обладает поддержкой ОС от версии Windows Phone 8.10.12393.890 до 8.10.15148.160 и Windows 10 Mobile 10512, 10536, 10549 и 10581. К сожалению, RTM-версии 10586 в этом списке нет.
Разработчик под ником Heathcliff74 представил новую версию утилиты Windows Phone Internals с индексом 2.3. Эта программа для разблокировки загрузчиков в Windows-смартфонах не обновлялась с 2015 года. По заявлениям разработчика, свежая версия способна получить права суперпользователя (Root-доступ) на всех устройствах Lumia под управлением Windows 10 Mobile.
Windows Phone Internals способна разблокировать загрузчик в Lumia-смартфонах и получить доступ к файловой системе Windows 10 Mobile. Это позволяет пользователям изменять различные компоненты системы и даже устанавливать кастомные прошивки, в том числе и на базе Android. Энтузиасты уже неоднократно демонстрировали подобное, запуская CyanogenMod 13 (Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) на Nokia Lumia 525 и даже CyanogenMod 14.1 (Android 7.1 Nougat) на Lumia 520 с 512 МБ оперативной памяти.
Если сообщество поклонников Windows 10 Mobile еще активно, энтузиасты наверняка создадут порты различных версий Android для смартфонов Lumia либо найдут новые способы запуска APK-файлов. Это вдохнет вторую жизнь в уже неподдерживаемые устройства от Microsoft.

This program is intended for unlocking Nokia Lumia smartphones with the Windows Mobile operating system. It allows you to enable root access to the internal memory.

WPinternals is a Windows application that lets users unlock the bootloader on Nokia Lumia devices. Additionally, it is possible to backup and restore all personal data.
Installation prerequisites
To use this tool you are prompted to download drivers for Windows phones and Qualcomm Emergency Broadband modules. Moreover, for unlocking the bootloader it is necessary to set up the Lumia Programmer and Engineering SBL3 software. It is important to note that incorrect use of these utilities may cause permanent damage to the device.
Bootloader settings
Users are able to remove software restrictions from the internal flash memory module for getting access to all smartphone features. This operation requires a certain UEFI version on the device. It can be viewed in the Info section of the main window. The warning message will appear if the UEFI is not compatible.
The next step is to switch the phone to Mass Storage mode. This way all system files can be patched and modified. After this you are able to unlock the bootloader by clicking the corresponding button.
To backup all documents, images and videos from the Nokia Windows phone to the hard drive users can utilize the provided functionality or download Nokia Lifeblog.
Root access
This operation allows you to install third-party Homebrew applications to the smartphone. It can be performed by manually replacing system components or automatically with the help of the included tool. There is support for various Windows Mobile OS versions.
